Read in January

Hey my lovelies, here is my Read in January post. The books that don't have pictures are due to me reading them in eBook format, if I find them good enough that I want to buy them in paperback/hardback format, i will update the post with the pictures. So far I only actually have two of the books in paperback format.

The first book I read in 2015, was Misty Falls by Joss Stirling. Misty Falls is the fourth installment in the Benedict's brothers series by Joss Stirling. It is the only one in the series that does not involve the main character being a soulfinder to one of the Benedict brothers, which in my eyes makes it more of a companion novel, rather than the fourth installment of the series.

The second book I read in January was Before I fall by Lauren Oliver. Sadly due to me reading this for the first time last year, I added this to my good reads then, which means it does not go towards my good reads challenge. Before I Fall is a truly amazing must read, as it shows incredible character development and I just adore Olivers writing In this novel. A story of how you can choose to change your life in a day, due to your inevitable death. It also makes you reevaluate your life and what you do on a day to day basis.

The third book I read in January was Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins. I went into reading this completely blind after reading the raving reviews on good reads and seeing various book vloggers love it. Rachel Hawkins truly wrote a kickass female badass, which you don't read a lot off and it was great, the only thing I was not sure of was the ending. But I will see how it concludes in the sequel coming out later this year.

The fourth book I read In January was AngelFall by Susan Ee. I immensely enjoyed Angelfall and it has very quickly become one of my favourite books, as what would you do if angels took over the world and weren't the kind, pure beings that you expect them to be. Susan Ee has given me a new hope on post apocalyptic novels and Angelfall left me gasping for a sequel.  A must read and my favourite series so far this year.

The fifth book I read in January was the sequel to Angelfall, World After by Susan Ee. As soon as I finished Angelfall, I went straight onto World After and it did not disappoint. World After was even darker than Angelfall, which I did not expect, but it was amazing. A must read for everyone with a kickass female lead, a crazy ass mum and an angel apocalypse. Need I sy more? World After made me so excited for the End of Days the final novel I'm the Penryn and the End of Days trilogy.

The sixth book I read in January was FanGirl by Angel Lawson. I loved the idea of a fan girl who gets a shot at being with her idol after having a fan site and making fan video. Which he saw and decided she was perfect for the role of his heroine. And then facing all the trials and tribunes of being famous. Featuring meddling ex boyfriends, graphic novels and zombies. It was a fun and cliche read, that is good for someone looking for a light hearted read, with no real angst.

(coming out on 6th February)

Thats the end of my January reads my lovelies, and so far I have read 5 of 52 books according to Goodreads, which is 10% of my reading so far and I am 2 books ahead of schedule.  (I know it doesn't make sense, but I am going of goodreads).

*Update 28/01/2015 Last night I read We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, which is the 6th book I read i January (Go Emma, Go Emma*internaly dances*). A lot of the premise of We Were Liars is if asked you should lie about what happened and I won't be doing that. The book annoyed me immensely and I could rant about it forever, I suggest that if you read this novel, you do not read any of the reviews for it beforehand, but I do not personally recommend it due to the writing style,
